Dewey the Library Cat

I really love this book! It's about a cat that was dropped in a book-slot at the library. This cat survived the coldest night of the year (fifteen below zero!) in the icy metal book drop. Dewey survived frostbitten paws and was rescued by Vicki Myron, who the story is told by. Dewey was soon to be the new ruler of Spencer Public Library. A wonderful touching story about how one cat changed Spencer, a town in northern Iowa. In this true story, Dewey's shenanigans are just like my two cats! A story everyone can relate too, this book is FIVE STARS.

  1. Sounds like a great book! And just for the record, I've NEVER put a cat into a book drop...

  2. For 2MaK, I'll bet the best part of the book was when the cat was dropped in the book drop - the saddest part was when it was rescued!
