This book is geared towards ages 9-13. I really like it.
It's about a girl named Bree Davies. When her fantastic Border Collie, Danny, runs away Bree is determined to find him. While running on the streets of Santa Monica, she meets a funky woman, Rayleen.
Rayleen shows Bree the shelter where she volunteers and Bree has an idea to cheer up the sad place.
She might be able to get these helpless dogs homes, while find her own dog.
